Specifically, Fate uses innovative multiplexed next generation DNA sequencing and microfluidic PCR technologies to characterize stem cells under a range of physiological and induced conditions, leveraging information from thousands of biomarkers. By monitoring these dynamic changes in response to selected pharmacologic modulators, Fate can identify selective and potent pathway enhancers. Fate employs cell state characterization not only to screen for novel stem cell modulators, but also to optimize pharmacologic conditions for already identified development candidates.
